During the late afternoon, the heat of the day begins to subside, the Gir animals are again active. The afternoon safari timings are generally in:

For the booking, you can secure the jeep safari in advance, especially when tourist seasons are at peak. The Gir National Park gives you online booking from the website, the visitors book their tickets from the official website. Visitors choose their safari timings and book the tickets accordingly. Visitors can also book the tickets on the spot but because of its limited bookings, it would be better, if you do pre-booking from its official website. Each safari is typically around 3 hours.

Dalkhaniya Zone - You can see the numerous types of birds in this Zone.
